STD Testing

The staff at Life Options believes compassion is just as important as our medical credentials. We offer STD testing by a licensed healthcare professional who will meet with you and, based on your health history, signs or symptoms, and risks of exposure, will discuss your testing options with you.

STD Testing and Treatment

STD screening and testing appointments are available to both men and women. Your test results will typically be available within 7 days.

At this time, we can provide testing for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Bacterial Vaginosis, Candida (Yeast), and Trichomoniasis. If you receive positive test results, Life Options is able to offer free treatment for some diagnoses. It is important to be aware that not all STDs are treatable. We encourage anyone who is sexually active to be tested, as not all STDs give signs or symptoms.

Experiencing STD Symptoms?

Some of the most common symptoms of an STD or STI include, but are not limited to:

  • Unusual discharge or strong odor

  • Itching or irritation

  • Pain during intercourse or urination

  • Unexplained rash

Reasons To Get Tested For STIs Before an Abortion

1. If you’ve had a change in partners or unprotected sex, getting tested should be one of the first things you do.

2. If you have experienced itching or burning in your pelvic area or any of the above-mentioned STD symptoms, you need to get tested before engaging in any sexual activity.

3. Rule out or treat an infection before taking any drugs or continuing with a surgical procedure. This can prevent further complications.

Your health and safety are our priority. If you think you may be pregnant or are considering an abortion, reach out to get tested today.
